Recently, the cricketer was honored with the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, which is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a sportsperson in India. Interestingly, Rohit Sharma is only the fourth cricketer to win the prestigious award.
Before Rohit Sharma, only Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli have been the recipients of this honor.

Soon, Rohit Sharma posted a video of himself thanking everyone for their support and love and also promised his fans to win many more laurels for India. Sharing the video, Rohit wrote:

Meanwhile, the awardees of the prestigious award, including Rohit Sharma will be receiving the honor from President Ram Nath Kovind at a specially organized virtual ceremony, which will be hosted from the Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 29th, 2020.
