MS Dhoni Reminds Me Of My Husband: Sania Mirza
Recently, India’s ace tennis star Sania Mirza talked about MS Dhoni’s decision to retire. Well, recently, in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Sania Mirza stated that MS Dhoni could have got a farewell match if he wanted one but walking away silently maks him, MS Dhoni. She said:
“I think that if he wanted to make a celebration out of it, he would. I think we should give him that. I think he is a big enough star or has achieved enough, be secured enough to say, ‘I am going to walk out a bit quietly and respectfully.’”
She added:
“I think that is what makes him the Captain Cool, that’s what makes him MS Dhoni because he is someone who has achieved so much not only for himself but for the country.”
MS Dhoni Reminds Me Of My Husband: Sania Mirza
Further in her interview, Sania Mirza claimed that MS Dhoni’s personality reminds her of her husband. She even pointed out some similarities between the two cricketers. She said:
“MS Dhoni really reminds me of my husband in terms of the personality. It is uncanny how similar they are. They are quiet but funny. On the field, they are very cool. In many ways, Dhoni is like Shoaib.”
Talking about MS Dhoni, the cricketer might have retired from the international format, but he will be soon seen creating his magic on-field for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, which will kickstart from September 19th.
