MS Dhoni and Ricky Ponting, both the cricketers are regarded as the two most successful skippers in the history of cricket. Having won both the World Cups during their captaincy period, both the cricketers took their teams to new heights. MS Dhoni is regarded as the most successful skippers to have ever played for team India, having achieved everything a cricketer ever dream of. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, the Indian cricket team won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 before winning the 2011 World Cup. MS Dhoni also led team India to win the Champions Trophy.
On the other hand, under Ricky Ponting’s captaincy, Australian cricket team won World Cup 2003 and 2007.
