In one of the worst incidents in years, 20 Indian Army personnel, including a Colonel have lost their lives between a violent clash between the Indian army and the Chinese Troops in Galwan Valley, Ladakh. Social media is flooded with reactions from netizens, who are paying their heartfelt tribute to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives.
Meanwhile, reacting to the news of the violent clashes in Ladakh, the doctor of Chennai Super Kings took to his official twitter handle and shared a ‘distasteful’ tweet, that didn’t go down well with the netizens. In his tweet, Dr. Madhu criticized PM Modi with sarcasm. He wrote:
“Just curious if the Coffins will come back with a “PM CARES” sticker on them?”
Here, check out the tweet of Dr. Madhu Thottappillil:
As soon as the tweet caught eyes, people started trolling the doctor over his distasteful tweet. However, Chennai Super Kings were quick to notice the distasteful tweet and take an action against the doctor. Chennai Super Kings via their official twitter account shared that they were not aware of the personal tweet done by Dr. Madhu. They also informed that the franchise has decided to suspend him from the position of the team’s doctor. CSK wrote:
“The Chennai Super Kings Management was not aware of the personal tweet of Dr. Madhu Thottappillil. He has been suspended from his position as the Team Doctor.
Chennai Super Kings regrets his tweet which was without the knowledge of the Management and in bad taste.”

Chennai Super Kings’ action is being appreciated by all. This is a hard time for the country and CSK has set a perfect example by teaching the doctor a lesson. Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

I’m not a CSK fan, but I’m with them in this matter. how can the entire management be responsible for a tweet of an individual from their organisation ! But CSK must cancel their contract with Thottappillil , suspension is not enough.that tweet was very pathetic n irresponsible. pic.twitter.com/ZP5t5SJEbN

Why not dismissed? As a CSK supporter, Chennai person & a patriot, I want to know why he’s just “suspended”. @anavrittim
