Sara Taylor, who on Wednesday celebrated her 31st birthday, has faced her share of ups and downs. However, she never allowed her personal issues to impact her game. Recently, in an interview, Sarah Taylor revealed that she is a huge fan of Kumar Sangakkara. She was quoted saying:
“I am a huge (Kumar) Sangakkara fan. When I was a kid, Graham Thorpe, I enjoyed his grit and determination. I am a fan of Brendon McCullum, as a person and a cricketer,”
Later, on social media, a Twitter user asked her about her favorite Indian cricketer. The twitter user has asked:
“@Sarah_Taykor30 Your favourite Indian player?”
To which the cricketer took the name of the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli.

Well, not just Sarah Taylor but Virat Kohli is also a great fan of Sarah Taylor. For the unversed, there was a time when Virat Kohli was super impressed with the performances of Sarah Taylor and when he wanted to meet the woman cricketer desperately.
Well, this incident was revealed by  Sarah Taylor’s teammate Kate Cross, who had shared a picture of Sarah Taylor with the Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli. Sharing the picture, Kate Cross wrote:
5 years ago since @imVkohli wanted to meet you @Sarah_Taylor30!!”
Reacting to this, Sarah Taylor wrote:
“it was one of the most bizarre wake-up calls she ever had for a 5 am breakfast..”
