The former Pakistani pacer, Shoaib Akhtar is regarded as one of the best pacers to have ever played the game. Besides his performances, Shoaib Akhtar gained a reputation for making controversial statements. And he continues to the same either on social media or on his YouTube channel.
Recently, he was at it again after he was brutally trolled by the ICC. Well, it all started when in a Tweet, ESPNCricinfo shared a list of 10 retired cricketers and paired them with 10 current superstars and questioned the fans on which contest they would like to see take place. In the list, Shoaib Akhtar was paired with Steve Smith.

Well, Shoaib Akhtar was quick to notice the Tweet and come up with a reply to it. Shoaib Akhtar retweeted the picture and wrote that he can dismiss Smith in just four balls. He wrote:
“Even today, 3 hurting bouncers and i can dismiss @stevesmith49 on the 4th ball. Lol,”

His tweet was soon flooded with reactions from the fans, who trolled him left, right and center. In fact, the ICC couldn’t stop themselves from taking a dig at Shoaib Akhtar.
In their tweet, ICC shared a series of images and brutally trolled former Pakistan’s pacer. The first image is of Michael Jordan who can be seen looking down as if he is reading something. The image was followed by the second image – a screenshot of Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet. And the best part came with the third image where Michael Jordan can be seen laughing away.
