The Men in Blue took just-concluded India vs Australia ODI series by storm after giving a masterclass performance in all the three departments of the game. The Indian cricket team defeated the Australian cricket team by 7 wickets, sealing the series by 2-1 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Being asked to field first, the Indian bowlers made sure to not let the Australian batsmen set a big target for them. The Indian cricket team restricted the Australians at 286 runs.

Opening the series for their sides, David Warner and Aaron Finch couldn’t make it big for their side, the second time in a row as they both were sent back to the pavilion early in the game. However, Steve Smith was still there, absorbing all the pressure. He gave a stunning performance and smashed 131 runs off 132 balls, smashing the balls to all the corners of the ground, hitting 14 balls and 1 six. Unfortunately, his century wasn’t able to help his side win the series.

Indian bowler, Mohammad Shami was at his best once again as he took 2 major wickets in the game. Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli, both helped their side too to bundle up the wickets of Australian in quick successions.
Chasing 286 runs, Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul kickstarted the game with a high note. However, KL Rahul failed to continue with his brilliance and was dismissed after scoring 19 runs. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma gave a thrilling show and scored 119 runs in 128 balls, scoring 8 fours and 6 sixes.

Don’t recall even a split second when India looked hurried or bothered in this run chase! @imVkohli and @ImRo45 were clinical and ruthless both and a 287-run target has never looked as EASY – this, when most would have fretted over the injury to @SDhawan25 ????????? #INDvAUS
