Jasprit Bumrah Wrote A Special Message For Fans After PM Modi’s Appeal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, made a fresh appeal from the citizens of India amidst the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. PM Modi took to his social media and shared a video message with Indians, where he can be seen asking the people of India to come out of their houses at 9 pm for 9 minutes and light candles/diyas or use torchlight after switching the lights off. In the video message, PM Modi had said:

On April 5, Sunday, at 9 pm, I want 9 minutes from all of you. Turn off all the lights in your homes, stand at your doors or balconies and light candles, diya (lamp) or mobile flashlights for 9 minutes,” 




He added:

We must all together, challenge the darkness spread by the coronavirus crisis, introducing it to the power of light. No one is alone during the lockdown, the collective superpower of 130 crore Indians is with every citizen.”

PM Modi’s appeal was welcomed by one and all. From commoners to celebrities and cricketers, everyone lauded the appeal of PM Modi. Many cricketers and celebrities are taking to their respective social media and are spreading the word in their own styles.

He also urged everyone to come out of their houses at 9 PM on April 5. Jasprit wrote:
