Gautam Gambhir Has Once Again Proved That He Is A Very Large-Hearted Man

The whole country continues to battle the dangerous Coronavirus as people all around India are currently under the lockdown. The number of positive cases of Coronavirus has been increasing at a rapid speed and the situation has gone worst in the last few days. The count of Coronavirus victims is closing in on 2000 now and looking at the graph, the upcoming week is going to be very crucial.

Gautam Gambhir Has Once Again Proved That He Is A Very Large-Hearted Man

Considering the grave situation, a few days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the PM’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund and requested everyone to contribute towards the fight against Coronavirus. And since then, from commoners to cricketers and celebrities, people are extending their support towards the PM CARES Fund.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer and politician Gautam Gambhir has announced a massive help by contributing his two years’ salary towards the PM CARES Fund.

This is the second time in the last few days when Gautam Gambhir has taken to his Twitter and pledged to contribute towards the battle against Coronavirus. Earlier he extended his help for the equipment that might be needed for the treatment of the people suffering from the disease. He has decided to donate a whopping amount of RS. 50 lakh from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development fund. Later he also contributed Rs 1 crore for the PM CARES Fund.  He had said:

“I would like to pledge Rs.50 lakh from my MPLAD fund for equipment that may be needed for treatment in Delhi Govt hospitals.Kindly,direct officers-in-charge to let my office know about requirements”

Now the former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has gone a step forward and pledged to donate his 2 year’s salary to PM CARES Fund. Announcing about the same, he wrote:

“People ask what can their country do for them. The real question is what can you do for your country? I am donating my 2 year’s salary to #PMCaresFund. You should come forward too! @narendramodi @JPNadda @BJP4Delhi #IndiaFightsCorona.”
