The outbreak of Coronavirus has severely affected the whole world and the number of Coronavirus positive cases increasing rapidly. The Coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to all human activities and many countries are currently under the lockdown in order to contain the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The number of Coronavirus infected people has crossed 8 Lakh victims around the world with more than 37,000 individuals who have succumbed to death due to the pandemic. In this crucial time, several cricketers, celebrities and prominent people from all around the world have come forward to support the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
Many cricketers from India including Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and many more players have donated towards the Relief Funds and are trying every bit to spread awareness about the disease.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi is also making efforts to stabilize things in his country. In his battle against the pandemic, Shahid Afridi has been urging everyone to donate towards Afridi’s foundation, which is working to curb down the adverse effect of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Furthermore, many Indian cricketers have come out in support of him and are taking to their social media sites to support Shahid Afridi. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh also took to his social media and shared a video of himself where he urged his fans to do their bit for the ones who are ‘lesser fortunate’. Sharing the video, he wrote:
