There have been many unsung heroes of World Cup 2007 and 201, while many went on to become a huge name in the cricketing world, there were many who completely vanished from the cricketing world. However, their contribution to the world cup wins for India and one among them is Joginder Sharma.
Joginder Sharma, a former Indian cricketer who is now bringing a sliver of hope and inspiration to everyone out there. His heroics during the 2007 T20 World Cup made him a household name in India. He gave a brilliant performance and helped India win the tournament. For the same reason, he was appreciated and praised by the Indians and the ICC.

However, why are we talking about him suddenly? Well, our World Cup hero went viral on social media once again as he was seen carrying out his duty as a cop wearing a mask amid the coronavirus crisis.
Yes, Joginder Sharma currently serves as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. As the whole country is currently under the lockdown, the cricketer was spotted fulfilling the duties of a cop at this crucial time.
Pictures and videos of the World Cup hero has been going viral on social media, with fans going gaga over him. Even the International Cricket Council (ICC) also lauded Joginder Sharma by tweeting his image. Sharing the tweet, ICC wrote:
