he whole world is currently fighting against the dangerous COVID-19, which has affected the whole world. So far, the positive cases of coronavirus have crossed 400 mark while 8 people have lost their lives. On Sunday, the whole nation observed the Janta Curfew and has now announced a complete lockdown in order to contain the outspread of the disease.
Gautam Gambhir Has Once Again Proved That He Is A Great Human Being
The government has been taking a lot of preventive measures for containment of the disease. From the doctors to each and every other health worker in the country are leaving no stone unturned to defeat the virus.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer and politician Gautam Gambhir has announced a massive help for the equipment that might be needed for the treatment of the people suffering from the disease. He has decided to donate a whopping amount of RS. 50 lakh from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development fund.
On Monday, Gautam Gambhir penned down a letter to the honorable Chief Minister of Delhi Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and requested him to let the officers uncharged tell him about the requirements needed to fulfill for the donation. He wrote:
“I would like to pledge Rs.50 lakh from my MPLAD fund for equipment that may be needed for treatment in Delhi Govt hospitals.Kindly,direct officers-in-charge to let my office know about requirements,”
The news was brought into the limelight by the news agency ANI via their official Twitter handle. Here, check out the Tweet:

Meanwhile, the outbreak of novel coronavirus has infected the lives of 360 people in India, while the numbers have crossed more than 3.5 lakh people globally with the death rate rising to 15, 433 globally.
