Former Indian cricketer and popular commentator and analysts Sanjay Manjrekar was recently dropped from the commentary panel by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), reportedly. The news of his exclusion has created a stir on social media among the fans of this game.

Though there’s no clarity over why Manjrekar was dropped from the commentary panel, but as per the reports, the BCCI is not happy with his work. He is one of the most experienced commentators around the world, his exclusion from the team hasn’t come as a surprise to the Indian cricket fans as he was under the scanner for a long time because of his controversial remarks on cricketers.
On Saturday, BCCI’s President Sourav Ganguly was asked about the board’s decision on the matter. However, Sourav Ganguly refused to comment on the exclusion of Manjrekar and also urged everyone to not jump into any conclusions just because Sanjay Manjrekar was not a part of one series
While Sourav Ganguly has refused to comment on the matter, Sanjay Manjrekar has finally took to his Twitter and has posted a heartfelt tweet regarding his exclusion from the commentary panel by BCCI.

In his tweet, Sanjay Manjrekar write how he always has considered commentary as a great privilege but never as entitlement. Sanjay also went on to accept that BCCI was not happy with his performance of-late. He wrote:
“I have always considered commentary as a great privilege, but never an entitlement. It is up to my employers whether they choose to have me or not & I will always respect that. Maybe BCCI has not been happy with my performance of late. I accept that as a professional.”
