The Indian opener Rohit Sharma is currently recovering from a calf injury that he suffered during the fifth and final T20 match against New Zealand, which ruled him out of the playing squad for the ODI and Test series. But he is leaving no stone unturned to get fit soon and make a solid comeback to the national side.
While BCCI hasn’t released any official update regarding the injury of Rohit and his comeback in the team. On the other hand, the cricketer has shared a major update about his fitness that reveals that he will be seen back in action sooner than expected.
Well, on Wednesday, the cricketer took to his social media and shared a video of himself where he can be seen lifting weights in the gym. While in the video he can be seen doing deadlifts, in the pictures he was seen doing the dumbbell row.

Soon the post went viral as fans were delighted to see their injured lion almost fit again.
Former Mumbai Indians teammate of Rohit, Harbhajan Singh also commented on Rohit Sharma’s video however he had a different question altogether.
Harbhajan Singh’s comment on Rohit’s post has left everyone in splits. Mocking Rohit Sharma on the weight he is lifting, Harbhajan Singh wrote:
“Only 40 kg for this ?? Common shaana”

Rohit Sharma was quick to reply to Harbhajan’s comment explaining to him the reason behind him doing 40kg weight-lifting. He wrote:
“@harbhajan3 that’s because it’s my first day after injury with weights”
