10 Best Tweets On Yashasvi Jaiswal’s All-Round Brilliance At The ICC U19 World Cup 2020

Yashasvi Jaiswal Was The Biggest Positive For India At The ICC U19 World Cup 2020: The ICC U-19 World Cup 2020 culminated in South Africa today with the Bangladesh U-19s beating the defending champions, India U-19s to win the match by 3 wickets. Parvez Hossain and Akbar Ali proved to be the biggest heroes for Bangladesh U-19s as both the players played match-winning knocks with the bat. Talking about their performance with the ball, Avishek Das surprised the cricket universe with a three-wicket haul but the top individual performer of the tournament was not a Bangladeshi.

Indian opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal won the award for the best batsman with his 400 runs in the U-19 World Cup 2020. He slammed five fifty-plus scores in the mega-event to top the run charts. Unfortunately, he did not get enough support from the other players of his team. He even starred with the bat for India U-19s in this match as he top-scored with 88 runs. Jaiswal had come into the limelight after scoring a double hundred for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The left-handed batsman, who grew up as a panipuri vendor on the streets of Mumbai and lived in a tent, was the lone player who shouldered the responsibility of the entire nation in the batting department. He even contributed his bit with the ball as he delivered important breakthroughs for the Indian team with his right-arm leg-spin. Jaiswal supported the duo of Kartik Tyagi and Ravi Bishnoi to perfection in the bowling section.

Unfortunately, though he could not end the U-19 World Cup on the winning side as the Indian bowlers conceded too many extras in the second innings. Jaiswal bowled 3 overs in the match where he gave away 15 runs while also taking the important wicket of Mohammad Parvez Hossain who was the best batsman of Bangladesh U-19s. Here’s how Twitter congratulated Yashasvi Jaiswal for his magnificent performance in the U-19 World Cup 2020.

With the way Yashasvi Jaiswal has gone about his cricket over the last year and in particular the #Under19WorldCup, I’d love to see him opening the batting for the @rajasthanroyals.

Jaiswal, Buttler, Samson, Smith, Uthappa should be their top 5, Stokes to finish. #IPL2020

The dream ends, prayers didn’t work. So hard on this lad!! Played like a true champion in the whole tournament, even in finals but sadly fell short by inches. ?
