Ravindra Jadeja Trolled Sanjay Manjrekar After The Second T20I

It hasn’t been very long when Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and popular Indian commentator Sanjay Menjrekar were involved in an ugly spat after the latter called the India allrounder a bit and pieces cricketer during India vs Bangladesh match in World Cup 2019. His comments didn’t go down well with Ravindra Jadeja who slammed him for his comments. He had said:

“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50 over cricket. In test match, he is a pure bowler. But in 50 over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner.”

In the following match, Ravindra Jadeja had smashed a stunning half-century that nearly took Team India over the line in the semifinal against New Zealand, and had brought out his famous sword celebrations by pointing out towards the stands which seemed to have been aimed at Sanjay Manjrekar. He had later also hit back at Sanjay Manjrekar on Twitter by asking Sanjay Manjrekar to stop with his ‘verbal diarrhea.

Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar

Later Sanjay Manjrekar apologized for his Tweets and with their latest banter on Twitter has once again stolen all the limelight on Twitter.

It all started when Sanjay Manjrekar took to his Twitter to praise the performances of the Indian bowlers in the second T20I against New Zealand. He was so impressed with the performances that he suggested that the Man of the Match should have been given to an Indian bowler. He wrote:

“Player of the match should have been a bowler”

Ravindra Jadeja was quick to notice the Tweet and come up with a reply. He took a dig at Sanjay Manjrekar and wrote:

“What is the name of that bowler?? Pls pls mention ?”

To this, Sanjay Manjrekar praised Jadeja and Bumrah’s performances in the match. He wrote:

“Ha ha…Either you or Bumrah. Bumrah, because he was extremely economical while bowling overs no 3, 10, 18 and 20.”
