Fans Are Trolling Ishan Kishan For His Poor Batting Performance In 2nd T20I

Tough time continues for Ishan Kishan: The Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns with West Indies in the ongoing second T20I match against West Indies at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. India has been dominating in this entire series so far. We have seen the top-order firing, right from the start of the game and the middle-order chipping in with crucial runs. After having won the first T20I match, the Indian team is looking forward to taking an unassailable lead of 2-0 to win the series.

As the game kickstarted, the Indian side was asked to bat first. However, the Indian side received a big blow as the game kickstarted as they lost their young opener Ishan Kishan. Sheldon Cottrell breathed fire as he bowled some fiery deliveries in his over.

Walking out to open the innings with Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan failed to make it big in the ongoing second T20I match against the West Indies. He was dismissed for just 2 runs after playing 10 balls.

The dismissal took place during the last ball of the second over, where Cottrell went for a length delivery, aimed at the leg stump. With the field restrictions being on, Ishan tried to flick the ball but failed miserably. HE could only manage to get an edge.

Earlier in the first t20I, though Ishan Kishan contributed by scoring 35 runs off 42 balls but was criticized for his slow knock.

It has to be noted that Ishan Kishan was preferred ahead of the Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, and Ruturaj Gaikwad to open in the absence of KL Rahul. He had the onus of making full use of the opportunity, however, he has failed to make it big so far in the series.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the dismal performance of Ishan Kishan. From fans to experts everyone took to Twitter to express their disappointment. There were many who started trolling the young cricketer for his poor batting show tonight.
