Despite The Poor Performance In IPL 2022, CSK Might Retain 3 Players

In 2022, CSK experienced its worst IPL season ever. CSK lost 10 IPL games in one season for the first time in the competition’s history. Because they outperformed Mumbai Indians in terms of net run rate, they nearly escaped finishing bottom.

The Chennai Super Kings’ season was ordinary because none of their hitters were able to accumulate 400 runs during the competition. But Chennai must give chance to their players, and might retain them despite their poor performance In IPL 2022.

Previously Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis were one of the top run-getters for CSK, but this year they were different lack of firepower in the bowling lineup and a lack of potential.

Despite The Poor Performance In IPL 2022, CSK Might Retain 3 Players

N. Jagadeesan: He is one of the talented players he scored 73 runs with an average of 24.3 in 7 innings and 4 matches. He is one of the talented wicketkeepers and scored brilliantly in the domestic circuit. If Ms. Dhoni gets injured then he might get a chance to play and good option for Wicketkeeper.

Dwaine Pretorius: As we have seen Pretorius is one of the talented bowlers when he got his debut and CSK might want to retain him and want to score runs and win games for the team. He will be a threat to a batter for his variation and will be exceedingly difficult to read his ball. And he is very handy when it comes to batting. In 6 matches he took 6 wickets with an economy of 10.00 and scored 44 runs with an average of 11.00.

Chris Jordan: In 28 matches in the IPL, he has taken 27 wickets with an economy of 9.32 and scored 833 runs with an average of 30.85. He is death bowler specialists and can take wickets and create pressure for the opposition. So, he will be one of the threats for the hard-hitting lower down-the-order batter. For England, he bowls different variations. For England, in 82 matches he took 90 wickets in T20 Cricket with an economy of 8.71. He might get retained by CSK.
