Aakash Chopra Slammed MI For Not Giving A Chance To Arjun Tendulkar: The five-time champions of the Indian Premier League — Mumbai Indians had become the first team to get knocked out from the playoffs race in the ongoing season after Rajasthan Royals had defeated Punjab Kings earlier this month.
However, with four inconsequential games still in their hand thereafter Rohit Sharma and MI team management had the opportunity to test his bench strength before the team plays its last game of the season. Even though Rohit Sharma had vowed to bring in newbies to the playing XI, everyone except Arjun Tendulkar got the opportunity to feature in the playing XI.
“There are options that we still want to try”, Rohit had said in the post-match presentation after the game against Chennai Super Kings last week. But much to everyone’s disappointment of Mumbai Indians’ fans and supporters, young and talented Arjun Tendulkar once again couldn’t find his place in the playing XI of the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra also took to Twitter and expressed his thoughts on the same. In his Tweet, Aakash Chopra wrote how it’s about time that MI tries him out too. He said:
“Arjun must play the last game of the season. Mumbai has given opportunities to almost everyone in the squad…about time you try him out too.”

Arjun was roped in by Mumbai in the 2021 season, but he failed to bag his debut cap. He was brought back for the ongoing 2022 season for INR 20 lakhs but he didn’t feature in any game this season as well.
Fans on social media were also left disappointed with Arjun Tendulkar not getting a chance to showcase his talent in front of the world.

If Arjun Tendulkar plays today, today’s IPL viewership will increase by at least 10% comparing to avg viewership per match.
