Popular commentator, Harsha Bhogle, who is hailed as the voice of cricket in India, has made a big claim about the SunRisers Hyderabad’s talented batter Rahul Tripathi. As SunRisers Hyderabad is currently locking its horns against Mumbai Indians in the do-or-die match at the Wankhede Stadium Rahul Tripathi played a terrific knock to help his team post a competitive total on the scoreboard.
As the game kickstarted, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. Abhishek Sharma and Priyam Garg walked out to open the innings for the Kane Williamson side, however, Abhishek failed to make it big with the bat and was dismissed after playing only 10 balls.

Following his dismissal, Rahul Tripathi walked out to bat at number 3 and he formed an amazing partnership with Priyam Garg. Both the cricketers smashed the bowlers of the Mumbai Indians to all the corners of the Wankhede Stadium.
Together Garg and Tripathi added 78-runs, however, the SRH’s run flow was brought to a halt when Priyam Garg was dismissed by Ramandeep Singh. But Rahul kept hitting the MI bowlers until he was dismissed by Ramandeep Singh. He played a crucial knock of 76 runs off 44 balls. His knock was laced with 9 fours and 3 sixes. During his knock, he played some stunning shots against the bowling beast – Jasprit Bumrah.
Meanwhile, impressed with his performance, Harsha Bhogle took to his Twitter and praised his knock, especially some of the stunning shots that came off Bumrah’s bowling. He wrote: “Wow, Tripathi has played three brilliant shots against Bumrah.”

In another Tweet, Bhogle made a big claim by saying that Rahul will be on his team for the upcoming 5-match T20I series against South Africa. He wrote: “Tripathi is in my team for the T20 games against South Africa.”
