Fan’s Tweet On Virat Kohli Golden Duck Goes Viral: Virat Kohli’s abysmal form in the IPL 2022 has continued as he was dismissed for another golden duck – his third this season – and second versus Sunrisers Hyderabad, on Saturday afternoon at the Wankhede.
Everyone was just stunned, speechless at this such a tame dismissal of Virat Kohli – as he lobbed a non-threatening delivery from Jagadeesha Suchith straight to short mid-wicket where Kane Williamson took an easy catch.
Fans were left frustrated, annoyed, and exasperated as the ‘King’ continued on his shocking downward spiral. Kohli did, though, didn’t “disappoint” one fan.
A Twitter user by the name of Tanya, with Twitter handle ‘traumatied’, had earlier in the day sent a text message to Virat Kohli on Instagram. In the message, this user had pleaded Kohli to either get out early – 0 (1) – or play a big knock of a century. She added that because she has an exam tomorrow, a duck will mean she can study freely or a century will at least make her watching his innings worth it; anything in the middle, like Kohli’s last two knocks, will be a painful watch.
Fans had a laugh at this because Kohli did indeed got out early and at least didn’t disappoint this fan. This is the user’s tweet that has now gone viral after Kohli secured a first-ball duck:
Don’t dissapoint today Virat :'( pic.twitter.com/bqs4mAuCpT

Kohli, the batsman who was known as India’s run machine, who once churned out 4 centuries and 973 runs in the most extraordinary IPL season, is now finding it difficult to get into double figures: 6 of Kohli’s 12 innings in IPL 2022 have been single digits and two others were of 12 runs each.
Before this duck vs SRH, his two previous innings saw him score some runs but those too came at a really poor strike rate – 58 off 53 vs Gujarat Titans and 30 off 33 vs Chennai Super Kings – resulting in a negative impact on his team’s total. The talisman RCB batter now averages only 19 after 12 matches.
