Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty are one of the most loved couples in the country. The couple has been dating for a while now. The reports of them tying the knots soon have been floating around social media for a long time now.
As per a recent media report, KL and Athiya would live together in a rented 4BHK apartment in Mumbai after their wedding. Amid reports about preparations for their rumored wedding, Athiya Shetty has finally opened up about the speculations.
Athiya Shetty has now debunked the rumors, saying that she laughs off such rumors. The actress also spoke about the recent reports that she is moving in with KL Rahul.
Responding to the speculations, Athiya said that it’s true that she is moving into a new house but she will be moving into a new house with her parents, Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty. The family currently lives at their Altamount Road home in South Mumbai.
Speaking to Etimes, Athiya Shetty rubbished all the rumors regarding her wedding with KL Rahul. She said: “I am not moving in with anyone, but my parents! My family and I will be staying in this brand new home.”
She added: “I am not answering any of these questions. I am tired of all this, now I only laugh them off. Let people think whatever they want to.”
Recently, her brother Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut with the movie Tadap, also rubbished all the wedding rumors, noting that no such arrangements are being made. Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, he said:
“There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date? Engagement bhi nahi hui hai. Haal filhaal uski bhi koi planning nahi hai (There has been no engagement and there is no such plan in the near future.) There is no planning for a wedding in the next few months as well.”
