Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Kieron Pollard continued to struggle in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Pollard once again failed to give the best of his abilities as he fell to Gujarat Titans (GT) leg-spinner, Rashid Khan, after making just 4 of 14 deliveries.
Coming out to bat first, Mumbai Indians had their best powerplay of the ongoing season, with captain Rohit Sharma coming back to his form, scoring 42 runs in just 24 balls. He was well supported by opener Ishan Kishan, scoring 45 runs off 29 balls.
MI finished the first 6 overs of their innings with 63 runs on the scoreboard, giving a flying start to the team. However, wickets tumbled soon after the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, eventually, leaving Kieron Pollard with Tilak Varma in the middle.
However, Pollard failed miserably to rebuild the innings as he was dismissed after scoring just 4 runs and facing 14 balls. He looked completely clueless against Rashid Khan, playing four dot balls before being bowled on the 5th delivery of his over. Pollard’s knock halted all the momentum built by the top-order.
Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the poor batting performance of Kieron Pollard. He is now getting trolled left, right, and center for his performance.

It’s not about failure, but Pollard is not showing any agressive intent at all. He come to finish game, not to get set and finish later. We need to get past him now.
