After India lost a T20 match against the Kiwis, many former cricketers raised fingers at Dhoni’s place in the T20 team. Many said that he should now hang his boots and make way for youngsters to take his place. But his finishing touch to India’s total yesterday and the fielding heroics have now shut all his critics.

In fact the critics are no heaping praises for MS Dhoni. Dhoni played a staggering knock of 39 runs from 22 balls yesterday and then also went on to surpass AB De Villiers on the list of most T20 dismissals as a fielder. MS Dhoni’s lightening fast reflexes and clinical performance with the gloves is taking the world by storm.

VVS Laxman and Russel Arnold are all praises now for MS Dhoni. His fitness is unmatched and there’s no other youngster who challenges his place. Dhoni in the first T20 at Cuttack affected four dismissals out of which two were stumping dismissals. Be it fitness or performance, Dhoni has proved that there’s no better contender than him for his place.
