RCB vs RR: It was a comfortable win for Rajasthan Royals as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore with 29 runs in the just-concluded game at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Riyan Parag played a crucial knock for his side, just when the team needed him the most as he smashed a mighty fine half-century. On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Sen stole the show with the bowl as they gave stand-out performances to register RR’s 6th win of the season. Rajasthan Royals, after this Royals affair, are currently on top of the points table with 6 wins and 2 defeats.
Talking about Royal Challengers Bangalore, though they made a few changes at the top-order and brought Virat Kohli to open the innings for them. However, that didn’t work for them. RCB lost 4 wickets in the first 10 overs itself for just 58 runs.

Wanindu Hasaranga and Shahbaz Ahmed played a few lusty blows and gave some hopes to the fans of the Bangalore-based franchise, however, they soon perished and couldn’t carry on till the end. RCB’s captain Faf du Plessis was the top-scorer from the Bangalore unit, having scored 23 runs off 21 balls, smashing 3 fours and 1 six.
RCB couldn’t really recover from the top-order collapse and they lost the game by 29 runs. After this defeat, RCB is now sitting at the 5th position on the points-table of IPL 2022.
