IPL: Franchise cricket has always produced the best of cricketers who have somehow given up on their international journey and yet continue to ply their trade in unfamiliar territory. Despite being away from international cricket, they somehow make the franchise tournaments their own and turn it into an absolute showdown of madness.

When we talk about franchise cricket, IPL definitely leads all the charts with viewership and popularity through the roof of the planet itself. When we talk about a tournament so massive, it is quite obvious that the names involved with such a high-level fray are bound to produce wondrous figures from cricketers who have already played their swansong in international cricket.

In this story, let us take a quick look at three cricketers who have bid adieu to international cricket and yet promise to play a significant role in the IPL.

#1 MS Dhoni

Dhoni’s special finishing knock against the Mumbai Indians was simply an ode to the bedazzling brilliance that the former Indian captain has always been known for. In fact, in the last three seasons, 2022 has been Dhoni’s best journey so far has already seen him producing a handful of decent knocks, that can aid Chennai’s bid to stage a strong turnaround of affairs.

#2 Dwayne Bravo

Another tactical mastermind with a wide variety of slower balls, Dwayne Bravo is one of the best in the circuit of the shortest format of the game. He can change the complexion of any T20 encounter with a brand of his menacing variation and some picture-perfect line and length. Bravo is an absolute legend of the IPL.

#3 Kieron Pollard
