Royal Challengers Bangalore’s veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has been receiving praises from all corners as he continues to keep getting better and better with every passing game in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
On Saturday, during the game against Delhi Capitals, Dinesh Karthik played a crucial role in his team’s victory. He played a blistering knock of 66 runs off 34 balls, which came with the helo of five fours and five sixes. He was adjudged man of the match. All thanks to his stunning knock, the team was able to post a competitive target for the Delhi Capitals.
Not just this, Dinesh Karthik has been in some phenomenal touch in the ongoing IPL 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
In the six matches played so far, he has scored 197 runs with the strike of over 200. He has remained unbeaten in the tournament so far, excluding one game, which was against Chennai Super Kings. He has turned out to be a crucial part of the RCB’s batting line-up, especially in the absence of legends like AB de Villiers.
Meanwhile, from cricketers, experts to pundits, everyone is going gaga over the terrific performances of Dinesh Karthik in the ongoing season. Among many, female cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy also joined a bandwagon and penned a beautiful tweet for DK. In her tweet, she opined how RCB roping in Karthik for INR 5 crores was the best amount they have ever spent. She wrote:

Later, speaking at the post-match presentation, Karthik expressed that he wanted to be a part of the Indian cricket team. He said:
“I have a bigger goal. I have been working really, really hard. My aim is to do something special for the country. This is part of the journey and I’m doing everything I can to be part of that Indian team. This is one such step in that direction.”
