His name is ‘Sir Jadeja’ and he does what he does! Yes, that’s Ravindra Jadeja’s perfect introduction. Today too towards the end of the fourth day’s play, we got another ‘Sir Jadeja’ moment to laugh our lungs out, like literally.

Towards the end of the fourth day’s play Ravindra Jadeja started off his 5th over by sending back the opener, Karunaratne on the very first ball. The visitors then sent a night watchman in Suranga Lakmal but the move fell flat on its face. Lakmal too fell in the same over but his dismissal was one large comedy of errors.
Jadeja appealed after hitting wickets
As Lakmal tried to defend one Sir Jadeja delivery and could only manage a bottom edge. The bottom edge then led the ball to the stumps and Lakmal got cleaned up. Jadeja didn’t realise that the ball had gone to hit the stumps and he rather started appealing for LBW and was quite enthusiastic about his appeal.
Now this set confused scenes all over and even the umpires seemed baffled seeing Jadeja appeal even when the ball had knocked off the stumps.
Jadeja couldn’t control laughing
Once Jadeja realised that Lakmal was bowled and Jadeja made a joke out of himself, he bursted into laughter and couldn’t control it. From confused scenes to funny scenes the stadium was all lit up.
Later as his over ended the day’s play he was scene justifying his appeal to his teammates while waking off. Sir Jadeja had given the perfect hilarious moment to all those present on the ground and those watching the match on their TV screens.
Match in India’s grip
Sri Lanka will have to work really hard to play the entire day out. The Indian bowlers will make them work really hard and it seems like India will wrap the remaining 8 wickets by tea itself. In any case India is heading towards a series win.
