Yuzvendra Chahal has been having fun with the social media account of his new IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals, as he sent the fans in a laugher riot, as well as a bit perplexed about what’s happening, on Wednesday when it was tweeted that Chahal is the new Royals captain!
It all started when the RR admin roasted Chahal in a funny video. Here, watch this video that got the netizens chuckling. Chahal, though, hilariously replied that he will hack the account which nobody would have considered seriously at the point.
Yeah account hack kar dunga ab main ??

The fun quickly escalated when the RR admin replied with a meme. Chahal then tweeted that he has got the RR’s Twitter account password and will himself run it trolling back the admin.

Then finally, Chahal dropped the big bomb, when he tweeted out that he’s the new captain of the Rajasthan Royals replacing Sanju Samson! In a farcical all around, Chahal in fact used a cutout image of his from the earlier jersey launch promo!

This tweet has already got over 70,000 likes and the fans have been loving it, laughing at the thought of the leg-spinner leading RR. In fact, he taunted Sanju Samson to be jealous of him when Samson congratulated the leggie.

Chahal was earlier bought by the 2008 champions for 6.5 crore during the 2022 mega-auction, the leg-spinner ending his 8-year associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Chahal is RCB’s all-time highest wicket-taker with 139 wickets, and it was surprising for the fans that the premier leg-spinner wasn’t retained by RCB despite them retaining only three players. Chahal is also India’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is, with 68 scalps – one more than Bumrah – in 54 games.
Rajasthan, the 2008 champions haven’t made the final of the IPL since then. They finished in the bottom two in the last three seasons.
