At the IPL 2022 mega-auction, Mumbai Indians broke their bank to regain the services of Ishan Kishan, the 23-year-old who they had earlier released and preferred to retain Suryakumar Yadav.
Now, Kishan is back at Mumbai Indians, the franchise with which he attained immense success, including 2 titles in 2019 and 2020, leading his path to India’s T20I and ODI teams.
After a fierce bidding war with four other franchises who wanted Kishan, Mumbai managed to buy back Ishan Kishan for 15.25 crore, making him the second-most expensive Indian player acquired in IPL auction history.
After being bought, Ishan Kishan posted a video thanking the franchise and the fans for their support. Soon fans started showering praise and congratulations on Kishan. Among those, one comment marked out – it was that of Aditi Hundia, Ishan Kishan’s rumoured girlfriend.
Reacting to Ishan Kishan’s video after his record signing, Aditi Hundia wrote, “Proud and how,” and followed it up with a fire and a blue heart emoji.
Aditi Hundia came into the limelight when she attended the 2019 IPL final between Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings.
Born on January 15, 1997, Jaipur-born Aditi is a model and actress. She started her modelling career with Elite Miss Rajasthan in 2016 and was the runner up in it. After this, she won the title of Femina Miss India Rajasthan. In the same year, she was in the top 15 in Femina Miss India 2017. Aditi won the title of Miss Supernatural in 2018. She then got a chance to participate in Miss Universe 2018 pageant
Other than Ishan Kishan, the five-time champions added only three more players to their squad: the sensational South African youngster Dewald Brevis for 3 crore, also known as ‘Baby AB’ after he took the under-19 World Cup by storm, along with Basil Thampi for 30 lakh, and 1.6 crore for Murugan Ashwin.
