The ongoing IPL 2022 mega auction has been halted after a medical emergency that occurred inside the main hall where the bidding for the mega-event was taking place on Friday in Bengaluru. On day first, of the ongoing IPL 2022 Mega Auction, fans were left in shock after auctioneer Hugh Edmeades fainted during bidding.

Yes, you read that right. On Friday, IPL auctioneer Hugh Edmeades fainted while making calls for the Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, who was going under the hammer at that time.
