SRK Sent A Strong Message To His Team KKR After Last Night’s Defeat

SRK Sent A Strong Message To His Team KKR After Last Night’s Defeat: Superstar of Bollywood and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan has expressed his disappointment over the team’s 10-run loss against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Chasing a modest total of 153 runs, the game looked completely in favor of Kolkata Knight Riders. The team got off to a good start with openers Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana starting the game with a 72-run stand before Gill departed. However, Rana held the game and tried his best to dictate the chase as wickets kept falling at the other end, but as soon as Rana was dismissed, their batting line-up collapsed. Though initially, it looked like KKR will win the game, however, Rana’s dismissal crushed all the hopes of KKR.

KKR needed only 31 runs from 28 balls with big hitters Andre Russell and experienced campaigner Dinesh Karthik in the middle. However, both the cricketers struggled in the middle. Jasprit Bumrah created a magic spell in the penultimate over and gave away only 4 runs. KKR needed 15 runs off the final over. The reputed finishers came short against Mumbai’s talented bowlers and eventually, KKR threw the game. It won’t be wrong to say that Mumbai Indians stole this game from the jaws of defeat.

Later, after the match, Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter and expressed his disappointment over KKR’s performance. In his tweet, SRK also apologized to the fans of KKR. He wrote:

Disappointing performance. to say the least @KKRiders apologies to all the fans!”
