It rained fours and sixes at the Chepauk Stadium, as Mumbai Indians’ swashbuckling batsman Suryakumar Yadav came out to bat and displayed his batting masterclass once again. Suryakumar Yadav never fails to entertain his fans with his powerful shots and sensational knocks.
On Tuesday, as Mumbai Indians locked their horns with Kolkata Knight Riders, SKY was at it again. He walked out to bat at number three and formed a brilliant partnership with Rohit Sharma. While the skipper of Mumbai Indians took his time to settle down, on the other hand, SKY was in his element as he smashed the KKR bowlers from the word go.
SKY steadied the ship for Mumbai Indians and smashed a stunning half-century to help his team put a competitive base. SKY first spoiled Harbhajan Singh’s economy and smashed him for three fours in an over. Later, he smashed his first six of the game off Prasidh Krishna, who conceded 16 runs off his first over.
However, one of the stunning shots came when Mumbai Indians was on 81/1. SKY brought his half-century with a humungous six off Pat Cummins, leaving everyone awestruck.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya gave a priceless reaction after watching that stunning shot by Suryakumar Yadav. Hardik was left shell shocked, with his mouth wide open, as SKY celebrated his half-century.

However, SKY was soon dismissed after scoring his half-century. SKY was dismissed by Shakib AL Hasan (caught out by Shubman Gill) after scoring 56 runs off 36 balls, smashing 7 fours and 2 sixes.
