Twitterati Trolled Krunal Pandya After Deepak Hooda’s Knock

Twitterati Trolled Krunal Pandya After Deepak Hooda’s Knock: Punjab Kings’ Deepak Hooda stole the show last night with his quickfire halfcentury that made all the difference for his team Punjab Kings, who won their first match of the ongoing IPL 2021, which was against Rajasthan Royals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Deepak walked out to bat at number 4 with all-guns-blazing, after Chris Gayle’s dismissal. Hooda formed an amazing partnership with skipper KL Rahul and both of them took the game by storm. He became the first uncapped player to smash a half-century in less than 23 balls twice in IPL history. He completed his 50 off just 20 deliveries.

By the time Deepak Hooda completed his half-century, he had already smashed six sixes under his belt. However,  Hooda walked back to the pavilion soon after scoring the half-century and was greeted with fist bumps, after he was caught out by Riyan Parag, ending his sensational knock of 64 runs off 28 balls.

Meanwhile, fans on social media went berserk as soon as Deepak Hooda completed his half-century. Several experts and cricketers also took to their social media to applaud the performance of Hooda. However, several people on social media started trolling Krunal Pandya left, right, and center after Hooda’s performance.

For the unversed, Hooda was slated to be a vital cog for the Baroda team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021, however, the cricketer quit his team ahead of the tournament alleging that he was bullied by the skipper Krunal Pandya. Deepak, who has played a total of 46 first-class matches, was disturbed by the behavior of senior Pandya.

Therefore, as soon as Hooda started smashing sixes, people on social media started trolling Krunal Pandya. Here, check out how Twitterati trolled Krunal Pandya:
