Dream11 IPL is just a few days away as the fans gear up to witness a unique season of the world’s toughest T20 league. The IPL Auction for this season happened long time back and the current form of all players is not known as a majority of them have not played cricket for months. Pat Cummins was the most expensive player, while his compatriot Chris Lynn was bought at base price.
It is not that a player bought at base price will prove to be an average player as here are five players who were bought at base price and still performed extremely well.
Shreyas Gopal – RR

Karnataka’s leg-spin bowler Shreyas Gopal was bought by Rajasthan Royals at his base price of just 20 lakhs in IPL Auction 2018. Gopal emerged as the highest wicket-taker for the Jaipur-based franchise last year with 20 wickets in 14 games.
Imran Tahir – CSK
