While KXIP had Rs 42.9 crore in their purse, on the other hand, Delhi Capitals had Rs 26 crore. As the bidding continued, Glenn Maxwell went past the Rs 10 crore mark.

Well, the KXIP were way to desperate to pull Maxwell in their team but as Capitals were also going after Glenn Maxwell fiercely, the KXIP kept bidding for him and finally KXIP bought him for Rs 10.75 crore after Delhi Capitals opted out of the bidding war.

Talking about his previous season in IPL, Glenn Maxwell had pulled himself out of the IPL 2019 edition and had a very bad 2018 season with Delhi Daredevils.
