Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer, recently, took stand for Chris Lynn after he was released by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL 2020. He claimed the decision of releasing Chris Lynn as a ‘bad call”. Raising questions on the franchise, Yuvraj said:
“He is someone I have seen in the IPL. He has given some great starts to KKR. I really don’t understand why they have not retained him. I think it is a bad call, must send SRK a message on that. Chris was just outstanding today,”

The above statement came from Yuvraj Singh after Lynn smashed 91 runs in 30 balls, hitting 9 fours and 7 sixes which is the higher ever score in T10 history.
After Yuvraj Singh’s comment on Lynn’s exit from the team, KKR’s CEO Venky Mysore took to his twitter and explained the team’s decision to him. In his tweet, Venky said that they released Chris so that they can bid on Yuvi. He wrote:
“@YUVSTRONG12 we released @lynny50 so that we could bid for you! ? Love and respect for both of you champions! #IPL2020 #KKR #Legends #Sixhitters @KKRiders”

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh, who announced his retirement from international cricket before the 2019 World Cup, had also announced retirement from IPL but with Sunrisers Hyderabad and now Kolkata Knight Riders talking highly of biding him in IPL, we can just hope for the best.
