The auctions of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is slated to take place in Kolkata on December 19, 2019. This year the auctions are going to be very interesting.
The trade window for the upcoming season of IPL came to an end on November 15 and unlike previous seasons, this year, it was a big affair as many big names had to shift their bases including the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mayank Markande, Andre Russell.

Royal Challengers Bangalore was one such franchise that released as much as 12 players go in the trading window. The team only retained two foreign players including Moeen Ali and AB de Villiers. The team also released Dale Steyn, who played only two matches in IPL 2019 before getting injured and leaving the league. The fans were expecting that RCB will retain Dale Steyn but the team instead released him because of fitness issues.
Meanwhile, Dale Steyn took to his twitter and hosted a “Question and Answers” session. A fan asked Steyn in which team would he like to play in IPL 2020. The fan wrote:
