The much awaited and anticipated IPL 2019 auction went underway yesterday at Jaipur and it turned out to be very surprising for the fans.

There were many surprising names sold for whopping amounts, on the other hand, there were many big names that went unsold. While players like Varun Chakravarthy, Jaydev Unadkat were sold at the highest prices this year, many good players remained unsold this year. One of them being the star player of IPL 2017, Manoj Tiwary.

Manoj Tiwary took to his twitter and wrote an heartfelt post, in which he revealed that he is yet to move on from the old pain of being dropped from the Indian playing squad. He scored an unbeaten ton against the West Indies in a home series in 2011 and was also given the title of man of them match.

Manoj had returned to the national team after 14 games and seven months but couldn’t make it again to the team again. He had an impeccable season in IPL 2017, which won him many awards. Now after being unsold from the auctions, he expressed about the pain he felt.

The tweet read:
“Wondering wat went wrong on my part after getting Man of a match award wen I scored a hundred 4 my country and got dropped for the next 14 games on a trot ?? Looking at d awards which I received during 2017 IPL season, wondering wat went wrong ???”

As soon as he posted this tweet, the fans flooded the twitter with messages and tweets for him. Later, he took to twitter again and posted another tweet and thanked his fans for all the messages and posts, but he also wrote that he knows that he won’t be able to play in this season of IPL.
