Last night, Kings XI Punjab got disqualified from the league after the lost the match to Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets. However, the curtains were down for them as soon as CSK crossed the 100 run mark as the team had to win the match with a margin of 53 runs.

KXIP were the first team to loose the match, after they had won 5 off 6 initial matches. The fans were left disappointed after their defeat. The co-owner of the team, Preity Zinta was very disappointed yet very proud with the way her team played throughout the match.
She has been one of the most loved personalities on the stands.She was present in almost all the matches to support and motivate her team who started off with a bang this year, however, lost it’s way in the end. Infact, at one point they were leading the points table with highest points, however, their downfall left everyone stunned.
