Well, as they say ‘IPL is half-won at the auctions’. The owners of the teams put many efforts to buy the top and the most talented players of the game and they are ready to buy the players at any cost.
However, the expensive buys at the auctions have comparatively more pressure than on the cheap buys of the teams. The price at which they are bought has it’s own impacts on the performance of the players.
But this time, if you have noticed the star players, who are giving one after another hit performances were not bought for any whopping amount but instead were bought at cheap prices, and that too after a lot of bargaining.

He has previously played for almost every team including Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was bought for 1.7 crores  by Royal Challengers Bangalore and in a few matches that he has played, he has given thrilling performances.

The 20-year-old batsmen, Mayank Markhande made his IPL debut with this season of IPL and what a thrilling debut he made. He has given many impressive performances for his team Mumbai Indians. However, he went unsold in the first round of the auction but was bought by Mumbai Indians in the second round of the auctions.

Tim Southee was bought at the base price of Rs.1 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore, however, he went unsold in the first round of the auctions but was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second rounds of the auctions.
