Last night the war was between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, in which Mumbai Indians turned out to be the winners of the match beating Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets.
However, Chennai Super Kings is still leading the score charts. On the other hands, Mumbai Indians stepped two points above to be placed at sixth position.
In the first innings, it was Suresh Raina who made everyone go crazy with his innings. He scored 75 runs in 47 balls, smashing 6 fours and 4 sixes. He gave one thrilling performance. It was him and Ambatti Rayudu who scored 46 runs in 35 balls, who stretched the total scores to 169 runs. The skipper of the team, MS Dhoni scored 26 runs in 21 balls.
In the second innings, the skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma played a brilliant innings and remained unbeaten at the score of 56 runs in 33 balls. His team chased the runs wonderfully and won the match by 8 wickets.
However, CSK player Harbhajan Singh took to twitter and promised his fans that the team will come back stronger. He also appreciated Rohit Sharma for his great innings. Here’s what he tweeted:
