It was just a few minutes before last night’s match concluded, the complete social media was trolling Sunrisers Hyderabad for their poor performance as all of their players were out in only 18.5 overs, scoring total of 118 runs. However, the most unexpected things happened in last night’s match as Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match defeating Mumbai Indians by 31 runs.
Yes, Mumbai Indians lost their fifth match of the season. The season is turning out to be a nightmare for the players of MI. Mumbai Indians, who have won the title of IPL three times have won only a single match out of the six matches they have played till now.
Mumbai Indians started off the first innings with a bang taking one wicket after the other. The players set the ground on fire with their energy in the first innings today. Everyone believed that they will win the match tonight, however the tables turned upside down in the second innings.
Considering the fact that Sunrisers Hyderabad are known for their bowling and fielding skills more than their batting skills, this had to happen.
Suryakumar Yadav was the highest run scorer of today’s match. He scored 34 runs but in 38 balls. Apart from him, Krunal Pandya scored 24 runs in 20 balls before he was sent back to pavilion after an lbw by Rashid Khan.
The major shock came in the form of Hardik Pandya as he scored only 3 balls that too in 19 balls.
Siddharth Kaul, the player of SRH, took three wickets today in the second innings. Rashid Khan took two big wickets of Krunal Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, both the players who scored more than the other players today.
