Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their second win yesterday against Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets.
AB De Villiers was the hero of the match, he played brilliantly and scored 90 runs in only 39 balls. He made the ball reach on every corner of the ground by smashing 10 fours and 5 sixes. All thanks to AB De Villiers that RCB won their second match of the league after consistently giving poor performances.
Like every other match of RCB, people are always eager to see the innings of star players, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers, which is the most awaited innings of every RCB match.
However, Delhi Daredevils player, Trent Boult shattered every hope of each fan of Virat Kohli by a brilliant catch.
Virat Kohli, scored 30 runs in 26 balls, smashing 2 fours and 1 four. Virat Kohli was all set to hit another four and it had almost reached the boundary when Trent dived in and caught the ball in his hand and broke everyone’s dream of watching Virat Kohli play a superb innings.
People were appreciating the brilliant catch of Trent by calling it the catch of the season. However, it was a little heartbreaking to see Virat Kohli going back to the pavilion.
Later, when Virat was asked about the catch by Trent, there were all praises for DD’s player from Kohli’s side, he said:
“It’s one of those things you see regularly in the IPL. It’s good for the fans as well and when you look back you don’t really feel bad getting out to a catch like that, full credit to Trent,”
Gautam Gambhir, who is the captain of DD also appreciated him and said:
”It’s the best catch I’ve ever seen. It was unbelievable because left-hander and he grabbed it with his right hand. It’s never easy,”
