Virat Kohli, the captain of Indian Cricket team and Royal Challengers Bangalore became the highest run scorer in the history of Indian Premier League.
Virat surpassed the scores of CSK’s players,  Suresh Raina who was the holder of the orange cap but now the cap belongs to Virat Kohli.

In the match that wad held on Tuesday between RCB and Mumbai Indians , Virat Kohli gave a thrilling performance and fought like a lone wolf in the match to make his team win that match.  He scored 94 runs to become the highest run scorer of Indian Premier league.

However, his unbeaten knock went in vain as Bangalore failed to win the match and that too with a huge margin of 46 runs and Mumbai Indians won the match. In that match, he scored 94 runs in 54 balls with the strike rate of 180.He smashed 10 fours and 5 sixes.

But even after becoming the highest run scorer he said that his personal run score didn’t matter much. In his words he said:.
“I don’t feel like wearing this (orange cap) right now because it really doesn’t matter,”

He added:
“We tried our hardest but couldn’t get the breakthroughs,” 
Virat Kohli’s innings took his IPL total run scores to 4,619 runs in 153 matches, putting him ahead of Suresh Raina of Chennai Super Kings on 4,558.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be next seen locking their horns with Delhi Daredevils tomorrow night.
