Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their first match of the ongoing league. Kings XI Punjab won the match beating Sunrisers Hyderbad with 15 runs. It was a huge victory for Kings XI Punjab.
Kings XI Punjab won their third match today out of the four matches they have played till now after giving a thrilling performance at home ground PCA Stadium.
Before Kings XI Punjab won the match they won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored a total of 193 runs in 20 overs after a stunning innings by Chris Gayle.
The Universal Boss, Chris Gayle was on fire in the ongoing match between Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad. With the strike rate of 164, he gave a jaw dropping performance and scored 104 in 63 Balls.
He hit many thrilling shots and made the ball reach to the audience 11 times. Yes, Chris Gayle smashed 11 sixes and 1 four in the match.
Apart from him Aron Finch scored 14 runs in 6 balls. KL Rahul, the opener of KXIP scored 18 runs in 21 balls and smashed 4 fours. Karun Nair scored 31 runs in 21 balls.
In the second innings, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kane Williamsons scored 54 runs in 41 balls. Manish Pandey remained unbeaten at 57 runs in 42 balls.
Also, Shakib Al Hasan scored 24 runs in 12 balls. Yusuf Pathan scored 19 balls in 13 runs. However, all the players fell short of 15 runs.
