A Young RCB Fan Replied To Gautam Gambhir After He Blamed Virat Kohli

A Young RCB Fan Replied To Gautam Gambhir After He Blamed Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore has been receiving criticism from all corners after the team failed to make it to the finals once again.  It was a do or die match for them, however, they were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad. And as a result, RCB’s journey in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League ended last night.

It has been 13 years since the inception of the Indian Premier League, however, RCB hasn’t got their hands on the prestigious cup. While they keep winning hearts every year but they haven’t won the trophy yet. However, the love of RCB fans towards their team hasn’t decreased a bit.

And as the wait of RCB to get their hands on RCB continued, the fans of RCB started flooding the social media with ‘#ThankYouVirat’ and ‘#RCBianForever’ started trending on social media.

Among many, a video has been making rounds on social media featuring a little fan of Virat Kohli, who can be seen giving it back to Gambhir. In the video, the little RCB fan named Yamu, can be seen criticizing Gambhir for calling Virat the ‘worst captain’. The little fan also talked about the records of Virat Kohli as a batsman and took a dig at Gambhir by saying that he is nowhere close to Kohli when it comes to such records.

Here, watch the video:

For the unversed, after RCB’s heartbreaking exit from the league, former Indian cricketer and two-times IPL winning skipper Gautam Gambhir also criticized Virat Kohli and claimed no other cricketer would have got so many opportunities. Gambhir also reckoned that it’s high time that Virat steps down from the captaincy of RCB.  He said:

“Eight years is a long, long time. Look at what happened to R Ashwin. Two years of captaincy [for the Kings XI Punjab], he couldn’t deliver and he was removed. We talk about MS Dhoni, we talk about Rohit Sharma, we talk about Virat Kohli…not at all. Dhoni has won three [IPL] titles, Rohit Sharma has won four titles, and that’s the reason they’ve captained for such a long time because they’ve delivered. I’m sure if Rohit Sharma wouldn’t have delivered for eight years, he would have been removed as well. There should not be different yardsticks for different people.”

He added:

“The problem and the accountability starts from the top, not from the management nor the support staff, but from the leader. You’re the leader, you’re the captain. When you get the credit, you should take the criticism as well,”
