Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled one of the best balls of IPL 2020 to Delhi Capitals southpaw Shikhar Dhawan. It was Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2020 playoffs between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a brilliant yorker-length ball that swung, hit the shoes of Dhawan and took the off stump off. It is regarded as one of the best balls of IPL 2020 because of the accuracy of the yorker and the swing of the new ball. Here is the video of the fantastic ball that led to Dhawan’s dismissal.

Tomorrow night on the @SkyCricket IPL Cricket Show myself and @robkey612 discuss if @Jaspritbumrah93 is the best bowler across all 3 formats in world cricket right now .. any one beg to differ ?? pic.twitter.com/DLm36pnT7h

Jasprit Bumrah now holds the Purple Cap for most wickets in IPL 2020

Jasprit Bumrah has been on of the main weapons for the Mumbai Indians ever since he made his debut for the franchise. He recently celebrated his 100th IPL wicket by removing the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who by coincidence was also his first IPL scalp. In the IPL 2020 season so far, he has always delivered when it mattered the most and has 27 wickets to his name, becoming the leading wicket-taker in the tournament so far.

Mumbai Indians came out all guns blazing in Qualifier 1 and added 63 runs in the powerplay. After losing their way a bit in the middle, they still managed to reach the score of 200 in their 20 overs. Thanks to some sensational power-hitting from Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, MI scored 92 runs in the last six overs. The total was too much for DC as both Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult ran through their top-order, leaving them in deep trouble at 0-3.

Although Marcus Stoinis played a fighting knock of 65, DC could only manage to score 143 and fell short by 57 runs. This gave MI a direct entry into their 6th IPL final and they will be confident enough to win their fifth IPL title. Rohit Sharma after the game credited Jasprit Bumrah and congratulated him for his four-wicket haul. He believes that Bumrah is such a great bowler that he does not need to instruct him. He just goes out there and does his job on the opposition.
