Indian Premier League auctions have been making rounds in the news as the franchises have got themselves new teams by spending crores of rupees. Out of all those sold in the IPL auctions 2018, the most expensive of all bids went for the English all-rounder, Ben Stokes who was purchased by the Rajasthan Royals for 12.5 crores.
The Rajasthan Royals made another spectacular purchase in Jaydev Unadkat by getting him for 11.5 crores and hence making the most expensive purchase among the Indian players.

One very interesting thing that happened in the IPL auctions was the bid for Aryaman Vikram Birla, the son of the ultra-rich industrialist Kumar Birla whose net worth is around 800000 crores. Would you believe it? Aryaman Birla who was purchased for 30 lakhs by the Rajasthan Royals can actually buy a team of his own.

But then it is great that Aryaman does not want to be someone whose worth is just about the tag of the Birla family but rather he wants to make his own mark in the field he is passionate about.
