Best Wicket Keeping Batsmen Going Into The IPL Auctions

As the IPL auctions are just imminent there is a lot of excitement amongst fans and a lot of thinking to do for the franchises. One big issue which the Franchises will have to address is that of getting themselves a good wicketkeeper-batsman. With MS Dhoni retained by Chennai and Rishabh Pant by Delhi Daredevils now, teams would have to choose from this hot list of wicketkeeper-batsmen.

HERE ARE THE BEST WICKETKEEPING BATSMEN GOING INTO THE AUCTIONS

Preference One: Quinton De Kock

For his great batting skills and clinical performances with the gloves, he would surely be the first choice of all team who have not retained a wicket-keeper batsman. Any team that gets him will end up having one of the best wicket-keeper batsmen in modern day international cricket.

De Cock has a strike rate of 128 which is very good for a wicket-keeper batsman and he forms a great opener too.

Preference Two: Joss Buttler

Buttler is yet another explosive wicket-keeper batsman. Jos Buttler has got 1014 T20I runs from 49 innings and he has a very handsome strike rate of 139 in T20 Internationals. He was instrumental to Mumbai Indians success in the last edition. He can hit the ball a very very long distance!

Preference 3: Jonny Bairstow

Yet another Englishman at work! Jonny Bairstow has been a sensational wicketkeeper-batsman for England. Bairstow has a brilliant strike rate of 120 in the T20 internationals and has the highest score of 60 to his name.

Preference 4: Dinesh Karthik

Best Wicket Keeping Batsmen Going Into The IPL Auctions

Dinesh Karthik would be the most preferred Indian wicketkeeper-batsman after MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant being retained by the CSK and DD respectively. Teams looking for an Indian wicket-keeper batsman would surely be considering him.

He is very experienced and has a strike rate of over 130 in T20 Internationals. Dinesh Karthik has 2903 runs in the IPL with the highest score of 86. 

Preference 5: Robin Uthappa

Uthappa would be a consideration for the teams too. He has scored 3778 runs in the IPL and has a hefty strike rate of 131.6 in the shortest format of the game.
